SWI needs to have SNMP access, and the end node also needs to support the specific requests. You mention it isn't finding it via API but you didn't share your API request? FWIW - Aruba is a part of the HPE "environment" and like HPE then depending on the specific end device they don't always have everything enabled.

I'd never heard of BFD before so did a quick search. I can also see there are a lot of OIDs available e.g. https://mibs.observium.org/mib/CISCO-SDWAN-BFD-MIB/ - so as this is not natively built into Solarwinds, then you will need to build UnDPs and then add those in as widgets to your chosen template(s).
