Traffic view builder is on the NetFlow Summary View For the multi-port issue, I know NTA takes a while to complete that function and if you try to do other stuff while it's working it stops.

You are correct that ip route-cache flow is a much more simple implementation. Some folks use egress on a single router connected to several other routers to keep the config in one place. I like your method of egress on the exit and ingress on the others. Makes sense and keeps it simple. There is a lot to be said for not…

It looks like this is a different issue than what I saw. Can you open a ticket and let us know what you find? Thanks - Andy

The way custom properties work for Yes/No properties is that the user interface gives you check boxes to assign the property to nodes. So if you just check the box on the 2 you want ignored then it assigns a 'yes' to those 2. All the other unchecked boxes are 'no'. It is a little odd because the user interface doesn't say…

Hi Jordan, I can always use more feedback! Do you use CBQoS? If so, what are the top things you would want to monitor? Andy
-
If you PM me and attach the Wireshark file I can see if there is something in there that will expose the problem.
-
It takes a while after install to get the addresses resolved as netflow sees a large number of addresses. You might want to try the on demand setting.
-
You may not have Admin rights. Do you see an Admin tab? What version of NMP is this?
-
Hello all - Lost Admin Passwords are no longer supported on thwack. Please open a support ticket for this issue.
-
This is a known defect. What version are you on? This *may* be fixed in 3.8
-
Hmmm. I though that removed that AS. I'll mark this for a PM to see.
-
Yup. I'm setting this up in GNS3 now. I'll have some time in the morning to test further.
-
The Alert trigger from Advanced Alert manager.
-
kweise is correct, you can set you exporter (router or such) to export to a second IP. NTA does not do this.
-
Hmmm. Now to find a reset condition that won't step on the trigger.

Also see this information of using groups http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/Groupsanddependencies.pdf

It is odd that so many of the properties of the interface are set to unknown. Can you rediscover the device and see if this populates any of those fields. If it does not you may need to open a ticket. Here are the interface util OIDs we poll. If you run wireshark on the orion server during the rediscover it may show the…

Yep - just download it and eval it for 30 days

I'm looking into it now. Give me a couple hours or so. Don't open a ticket. Creating/troubleshooting custom reports is out of scope for them.
-
Looks like a feature request then. I'll move it over there.
-
You are correct. But if the OS is limited to 4GB then everything on the box has to share that.
-
Any fields not mentioned in the KB doc.
-
We have tested our products and they run well on VM's but not with SQL on a VM. We don't support that configuration.
-
This is strange but there is a lot going on in the alert. I would disable this alert then build a new one with the group that does not trigger and see if it works. Then add line back one by one and test each.
-
Great!
-
I'm not sure why that helps either.
-
I posted this thread as an IPAM user feature request here.
-
To clarify - you need to see the % utilization of circuits 95th percentile line? Does quarterly mean this quarter, last quarter?
-
Can you use the IP address and let DSN resolve it? If not, I think you'll have to talk with the engineering group there.
-
Good suggestions. #1 would be a ways off but #2 might be fairly simple,. I'll look at it.
