What level were you on and what did you upgrade to?
-
OK - sending some help your way. Do you have a ticket # on this?
-
As of Oct 6 we have included SP3 in the upgrade download package. DId you download since this date?
-
Yes - If you are running the operations between switches that might be the issue. TAC might have insight into this one.
-
Ah - the 1000 v 1024 factor. I'll find out.
-
Debbi - Graybirds, Thanks for the great feedback. Can't give you dates now but look for an announcement soon. Andy

It's on the NetFlow Summary view, unless that view has been customised and it was removed
-
If you don't need thise default private address groups delet them and then yours will be OK

This is not information NPM collects, NTA does. NTA does not have alerts directly but what I do is alert off of high utilization in NPM and look in NTA to see what is causing it. Accomplishes all of what you need. You can download NTA and rty it for free for 30 days.

Hi rjenk, That was a posting for NTA 3.0 beta last year. The good news is there will be a new beta soon. Andy

KB = SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: HP Proliant Hardware Monitoring Fails (Error 31002, 31005, or 31040)
-
The output IfIndex =0 is probably the issue.
-
Unmonitored traffic is traffic on ports that NTA is not currently set to monitor. To Monitor all traffic, and get rid of this, Go to NetFlow Settings -> Applications and Service Ports -> Monitor All Ports. This will get rid of the -1 and let you see what ports this data is using.
-
ah, I see. There is not a direct way using the UI but this can be accomplished using a sql query. It will take some better SQL-fu than I have to write that query.
-
This makes sense. The cache timeout would correct issues where long duration conversations span more than the reporting period (1 minute) and so the flow information shows an amount of data in excess of the bandwidth.
-
Suppressions are not logged as they are run as part of the trigger query. What this means is that the condition must pass the configured trigger and suppression at once for the condition to trigger. If the suppression eliminates the trigger we do nothing, so there is nothing to log. You could look at the availability and…

achrich, The Error No Data issue (stack chart error) is caused by a performance issue which SP1 addresses. This may get you to where the 2 hr charts load in an acceptable time frame then you can choose 15 min charts. I am looking at creating a user configurable chart default but I don't have a time frame to discuss on that…

This is really good information. We have had some discussions here on how to better include IP SLA capability so I'll bring this input to these discussions.

It is probably best to recreate the poller and charts. It is not very difficult to do. The MIB you want to browse in the UnDP MIB browser is 1.3.6.1.4.1.476. Start by creating a new poller. Here is the Admin Guide. http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/OrionNPMAdministratorGuide.pdf See chapter 12 and give a…

rgward, Aruba and possible a couple of other vendors support is high on my list of additional functionality for the next version of WNM. Note that WNM versions are not attached to Orion version launches. Orion will launch a new version soon and WNM will be sometime after that. I don't have a published schedule at this…

Hmm. So when you edit that alert and set the property type to Node you cannot make it look like this? If the alert has Interface as the Type of Property just change that to Node.
-
No problem. Let us know what you find.
-
It would easier to attack this using a dynamic service group. If you create a group of all the servers that should not be down B,C,D, E...), set the group status to worse and the the alert will only need to reflect the status of server A = up AND group X status is down. That make only one alert which is easy to manage and…

Dear Seinfeld fan - ;) This is a feature enhancement I have documented. No release date to give out yet but I agree with you that this is a must. Andy
-
It is on the raod map but I can;'t share an estimated date at this point.
-
SP1 is in test now and should address the issue
