Is it a Call Manager, Call Manager Express or CUCM?
-
Does the device allow you to update the SNBMP agent, or is that built into IOS. If it is in IOS then you need to standardize on the correct IOS.

I took a look at your post in content exchange and the comments there. It looks like there is a problem opening the functions to wordpad. If you copy them to Program Files -> Solarwinds -> Orion -> Reports then open report writer you can open the function sql there and copy over to SQL management to execute. It all worked…

Try adding this to the IP SLA operation config control disable Actually the config uses this command in the type config line as below... type tcpConnect dest-ipaddr 10.0.0.1 dest-port 22 control disable It looks like the operation you have was placed by IP SLA Manager. To add the control disable command you should delete…

I'll place that on a post it note immediately! Actually we have a couple of systems for tracking requests and request volume. It helps us to understand what y'all want so don't stop asking. There are a collection of factors that determine weather a feature makes a release and customer feedback is an important one. Andy

Make sure the server is set for 9996. If you can PM me and attach the PCAP. I'll take a look. Was 2055 working?

Looks good, with a couple of suggestions: * This is status polling, not statistics polling. Status is up/down. Statistics are generally performance counters. * The total data retention is 365 days which includes all the previous rollup periods. * When you retrieve a chart or report that crosses rollup boundaries, the least…

Typically the PE is the edge of the MPLS network. The WAN connection from the CPE to PE is IP. The MPLS provider will only let you set up operations on the CPE, and sometimes they will not allow that if the CPE is provider managed. If this is the case you can setup the operation on the next router or switch in your LAN (as…

It would not be good. The db would shut down. If you have space for RAID 10 on these drives that would be best.

I wondering about the requirement. Response times a relative to where they are being measured from. Whatis driving the requirement?

Yes, but there are default alerts and I think this is one of them. You may just need to adjust the thresholds and make it active. Note that when a monitored element goes over a threshold the alert is fired and it won't fire again until it goes below the threshold then violates the threshold again. This means that if the…

Yep - we investigated the MIBs involved and it did work on 1 or two models. For most models it failed.

I have seen where robooting the router kick off the flow export.

The Cisco feature nav says that they do but it may be iamge specific, Search the feature nav for those platforms with your image. http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/jsp/index.jsp

Yes, you are correct. We will clarify the language on that. Thanks for pointing it out.

Very strange. I think that might be a depricated feature that has not been reflected in the guide. What are you trying to accomplish? Is there a particular view you want to modify?

Looks like you found it. Which browser was an issue?

Do you have a case open on this? I'd like to help follow up.

The ingress flows for the internal interface should be non-NAT as they have not hit the NAT device yet. Can you do a packet capture on the NTA server and see what the device is sending you for the internal ingress flows only? Another possibility would be to only collect ingress flows on the internal interface since the…

Yep - for the PPP and T-1 IF's

Yes, this was changed in 10.0. Contracer, are you on v10?

Hi Chandru, NTA will show traffic breakdown by ToS at the global, node and interface levels. This should give you what you need. Andy

Hi Terry, Those are features of CBQoS monitoring in the Orion NTA module. Andy

It's a matter of how NetFow operates. Although you only have NetFlow turned on on 0.03% of your infrastructure you could have flows from every endpoint on you network being recorded by those devices. So selling by device leaves no measure for what scale you need.

Can you post a screen shot of the view? If so I can answer right away.
