When you run the Config. wizard, point to the existing DB and your nodes should be there. You may need to re-assign the Engine ID of those nodes as per the suggested documentation earlier in this thread. This might help clarify some questions- www.solarwinds.com/.../SolarwindsOrion8.1DBmigration.html

Verify which snytax you are using when you provide the instance name for the DB- Server-Name\SQLExpress or (local)\SQLExpress
-
do you see anything when you go to Settings > All Resources > find the Celerra and click on it?

Thanks Brad! There will be a little extra in your check this week.

is this a remote web server?
-
At this point you should open a support ticket. forms.netsuite.com/.../externalcasepage.nl

It's scrapped for now.

Try running through the Configuration Wizard again.
-
Sorry, just rename the NTA2.1Hotfix2.txt to .exe
-
A suggested workaround when recieving the Run TIme Error 13 is to copy the maps over and change them in the web interface.

No, the new one should read APM 1.0 Feb. 2008. - The provisioning is occurring as fast as they can be allocated. If you are expecting this asap you might contact customer service by phone.

I havecompiled some of the errors that have been seen on thwack. Instead of provdingyou 20 links to various issues just scroll below to see. Do keep in mind thatthe Orion Hotfixes have resolved most of the permissions issues. The majorityof upgrades occur without trouble. Despite the Hotfixes, there are stilllingering…

do you know the size of your previous DB?
-
This sometimes means there is a 0 in the resource properties table. This can be verified by pulling some diagnostics and looking within the results-------Drill into the DB folder-> ResourceProperties.csv to see if there are in fact 0s in there.
-
That's good top hear. We apologize- for the glitch.
-
Amrish- When you open IIS and select your Orion web site, click properties and within the Web Site tab under the description you can set the IP address or select "(All Unassigned)". Hope this helps.

HOTFIX 5 is now available -

That column should not be encrypted. I would run the SW diagnostics and examine the corresponding results. The Diagnostics Utility can be found in C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\SolarwindsDiagnostics.exe [assuming a default install path]. These results may possibly shed more light on what is occurring. See if you can…

Currently no. I found that image off of an old sales document. There were no instructions with it- just the prices for the Hot-Stanby.I'll check around and see if I can locate this or try to find an answer for you.

Running the Website portion of the Configuration Wizard should resolve this-

I tracked it down and attached to this post-please replace the ClassicSiteProxy.cs in \Inetpub\SolarWinds\App_Code with the attached version. You will need to change the file extension from .txt to .cs

Douglas- Could you verify if the services are running? Go to Start>Run In the "Open" box type services.msc When the services windows open scroll down until you see the services listed above and look at the status. If the status does not list as started right click on the service and choose start. Can you also look in the…

I want to be able to show the CustomerName field and not the MinutesUp when adding/editing nodes. The schema is not intended to be edited manually. You would need to use the Custom Property Editor to add and remove fields. There is not a way to hide custom properties via the Add Node web interface- Orion will display them…

Extract the zip and put the .dll files in the Cirrus install directory which by default is C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Configuration Management. If the files already exist replace them with the new .dll files. Hopefully this should resolve the issue.

Hotfix 2 is now available-
-
I'm assuming you are using 8.1?
-
You will need to upgrade to 9.1 and then apply SP1 which can be found in the Recent Updates column www.solarwinds.com/.../

hmmm interesting. Also we need to determine which user the COM+ is running under, then manually select all the map files, right click, properties, security, and give that COM+ user full control of the files. When you copied them all to the desktop, then back”, this removed the ACL for the COM+ user and could be the root of…
