Map Maker won't export to remote web server...?

When I try to publish to the separate web server, I get the prompt below and the publish to the remote web server fails. Any ideas?

I have the same error (Case #2544) which I reported to Solarwinds on March 21st.

I have had a few suggestions, but nothing that has resolved the issue - it's still open. While not glad you also have this issue - it might prompt some further investigation.

Hello-
Looking into case 2544 I see that it was decided to do a re-install of orion along with an additional web server however there was a mention of an Easter freeze until the 11th of April- so on April 5th this case was closed and we are awaiting further reply to proceed.

If you find this to be an error please notify Support regarding case 2544-

This is not a known issue and appears to be a permissions issue either with IIS or the DEP settings along with the access rights to all servers set to ADMIN-

Support is correct - they closed the case until we can schedule a re-install of Orion. Given we have a large installation (4000+) nodes, I have elected not to do this until 8.1 is available.

We have comfirmed both the DEP settings and Admin rights as requested by Support - product re-install was the last option requested.

As a bypass, we are performing a manual copy of the maps.

"Reinstall Orion"? You have *got* to be joking. How about actually troubleshooting the problem rather than just crossing your fingers, cuasing the customer a *lot* of pain and effort just in the hopes that the issue goes away?? I've been hearing a lot of "reinstall [product-x]" from support and that's just not a reasonable troubleshooting response.

sorry to disappoint but reinstalling does resolve many issues -but of course some problems require further troubleshooting-

Have you opened a particular case that can be referenced for discussion?

Disappoint? Just telling customers to hit the 'reset' button and waste their time with a reinstall so the SolarWinds support staff don't have to bother themselves with troubleshooting properly is just plain lazy. I've opened a case tonight - and no, I won't be accepting reinstall as a troubleshooting method.

A suggested workaround when recieving the Run TIme Error 13 is to copy the maps over and change them in the web interface.
