Dave, Have you seen this post by Denny? -Craig

Yes... I will contact both of you offline. -Craig

njoylif, You are correct, IP SLA Manager should be able to enable the responder your target. Is the target running an older IOS version? Regardless, it sounds like you got it working, which is good. -Craig

I've logged this as a feature request. -Craig

The general idea is to utilize the existing Advanced Alerting Engine to be able to alert on performance statistics on those servers. Which specific hardware problems would you like to be alerted on? -Craig
-
If you contact Sales they should be able to get you an extension key, as well as have an SE engage you to help with your monitor configuration. Let me know if you have any trouble getting the key or an SE and I can get you to the right folks.

Understood. So the aggregate score for the site is important, but any individual score contributing to that average is not important to you. Definitely a feature request; I've logged it. Thanks for the feedback! -Craig

Thanks, Dan! Please let us know if you encounter this again.

Good deal!

We are currently working on this for the next release. Another question for you guys: how many of you use nested scopes with your Cisco DHCP servers? In other words, the Cisco DHCP server allows you to create scopes that share the same IP address space (Microsoft DHCP doesn't allow this). How many of you are creating…

Sweet! Glad you got it sorted. Sorry it took so long! -Craig

One question, how would you like to see this displayed so you don't get yelled at by the 'managers?' Should we reverse the order of the numbers, or move the red stripe to the other side of the gauge? Thanks! Craig

What are the statistics you're looking for on your Voice Gateways that are a must-have?

Gonzo, Please open a support ticket and reference this thwack post. -Craig

Understood... I'll log this as a bug. Thanks for the feedback. -Craig

Sorry for the delayed reply. ipMonitor documentation should be up to date; can' speak for Adtran's.

Sorry for the delay in responding... I've been doing some research. A few questions about your set-up: * Do you have any QoS rules configured anywhere? * On which device is the operation running? Is it only on A and targeting B, or B targeting A, or both? * Log into to the device(s) where the operation is running. What…

GGray, can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing and what your thresholds are? Thanks! Craig

I would recommend taking a look at Alert Central for that use case. It's free. http://www.solarwinds.com/alertcentral.aspx HTH, Craig

Got it. While it's probably one of the least user friendly suggestions I've made, there is a workaround that allows you to use the arrow keys. You go to menu> more> special keys> pick key> OK. Obviously this isn't very pretty, but it gets you to the arrow keys. We're actually already tracking this issue, and have some…

Dr Zoidberg, Please open a support ticket and reference this thwack post. Thanks! Craig

Understood. As I mentioned previously, this use case is not currently supported. Are you familiar with our 'Ideas' forums? I would recommend posting your idea there as a feature request to see if other customers are interested as well and willing to vote for it. DameWare MRC Feature Requests -Craig

Good discussion here. Bahlkris, you are correct; for the most part, acceptable RTT ranges are going to depend on your network and what your end users expect. You can easily edit these thresholds in IP SLA Manager. We also made some improvements in the next release so that your gauges will actually reflect the ranges you…

Akeap, could you please open a support ticket and reference this thwack thread? Thanks! Craig

Tpatterson, Go ahead and open a support ticket and upload your diagnostics. -Craig

This is actually something we're working on. We're adding two new fields to component monitors that can be referenced with their own alert variables. We're adding a component description field, as well as an additional field for any other information specific to that component you want to include in the alert message.…

Definitely open a support ticket and reference this thwack post. -Craig

In a previous version of APM we implemented tags instead of custom properties. You can specify tags for a given template. We don't yet have the ability to alert or report off of those tags, but something we'd like to get to when priorities permit. -Craig
-
Shailesh, We are evaluating adding Exchange Datastore (shows the distribution of mailboxes across storage groups and databases for Exchange Servers) and Exchange Database Sizes in the next release of APM. No dates or timeframes I can commit to right now, HTH, Craig

Apologies, I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do or why it's not working. I would suggest opening a Support ticket. -Craig
