I had a ticket I opened get closed with in 25 minutes, of which there was no contact to me, and no resolution. I then reopened it, with a bit of nasty to my tone, and received feedback at that point.

I have tried to replicate the issue, I would recommend you checking your settings in Dameware. I would check which hot keys you have enabled,and if you see one associated remove it.

Currently running NPM for all my network monitoring needs, with SAM, NTA, VMAN, and Patch manager. NPM is useful in so many areas, the hardware monitoring has saved me many long nights. The device lists are my bread and butter and the overall capability is the reason i get as much credit as i do.

To setup recurring tickets for WHD, you need to create tasks under settings. This will allow you to create an automatically created ticket and set all the options you need for that ticket. Even assign it to a specific technician.

We decided to use Solarwinds WHD so we cold forgo integration issues, however it worked pretty well with OTRS as well, depending on your definition of well, and integration.

Do you use the billing feature? If so run the technician monthly status report and tweak some of the options in there and see if you can get your results. You can also create a custom report, and add custom criteria.

I have to say, i have been seeing an improvement. I only had 11 messages over night that there was an error in connection. Maybe is was a slow email night, but still. I know the team at solarwinds are working in the background to get things figured out.
