I had it too. It's a known issue that was fixed with the latest update 7.8.4. From the release notes for 7.8.4: "Resolved issue where Alert macros for Interface and Volume properties would populate improperly. "

When you log on with Admin and go to settings, there's a setting for Session Timeout in minutes. I think this is what's affecting you. Set the time higher. I've tried setting it to 0 or blank but it'll just reset to 25. Perhaps Don might have a way around this.

This happened to me before, I fixed it by encasing the message in "^". As in ^THIS IS A DOD COMPUTER SYSTEM. BEFORE PROCESSING CLASSIFIED INFORMATION, CHECK THE SECURITY ACCREDITATION LEVEL OF THIS SYSTEM.^

I just installed it today and it works pretty well. However I can trigger all alert actions (play a sound, flash color, text to speech, etc.) except sending e-mails. I am not using SMS though since our cel phones come with e-mail capability. Original alert e-mails from Orion work fine.

I'd like the Icons for for Browse to, Telnet, Ping, etc. on the Web Interface be available depending on access (Admin) or that they become a separate resource so I can choose to add it or not. I would love to see enviromental MIBs added. My core network has Cisco 12410's that have enviromental MIB's that I would love to see through Solarwinds. Currently one of my co-workers wrote a program to pull the information.
