The link - "Sign up for calendar invite" sends you to survey monkey... but lab.solarwinds.com should send you to our thwack page. Does it not?

Good point! I've forwarded this to our InfoDev department to add to the admin guides. Thanks for the feedback.

I totally get the frustration - and it is high priority to get addressed. I've had a few different requests around this features - so I'm trying to understand where the biggest pain points are. --Christine
-
Hi Darrell - Not much longer... we don't have a template for you... but we're going to begin working on the report very soon. --Christine
-
Hi Jon - that does make sense. Thanks for the extra detail. --Christine
-
Hi John - not to be a glutton for punishment - but can you tell me what about the feature is the most disappointing for you? It will help prioritize where to focus and how we can make it better. --Christine
-
Hi Zoomee99 - are you running the NCM/NPM integration? If so, this is a piece of cake. Just go to "manage policy reports" click "import" on the menu bar, and you can choose the location of the files from your hard drive. --Christine
-
Hi Darrell - pushy only means you're looking forward to the next NCM and that's what we like to hear! I can't say exactly when, but what I can say is it's weeks, not months. I promise this thread will be the first to know when we reach RC phase. I'm sorry I can't give out exact dates, but you know how it is with public…
-
Hi Jon - are you wanting us to add the report, or just the ability to support those rules? Could you let me know what you're looking for so I can be sure we're tracking it correctly? --Christine
-
Hi WESTY - we have had a lot of requests for this one. I can't say if this will make it into the new release or not, but I will keep this thread updated as things develop. --Christine
-
Hi Ctopaloglu: CatTools and NCM are really different from start to finish. Are you having any particular problems with the backup and NCM? If so, please post to the NCM forum and/or open a support ticket. Or you can pm me and I'll work with you to get a solution. --Christine
-
I hear you guys - and this is one of those cross-product issues that really isn't ideal. We need to have those interfaces in the database in order to map them, but we don't want to impact your license or your infrastructure. I don't know that there is a way to solve this easily, but your concerns are definitely heard and…

Robert and Dave: We are still tracking this a feature enhancement. I updated the item today with your comments/continued interest. --Christine
-
Hi Darrell - we're in beta right now and should be approaching the RC phase quite soon. I will be reaching out to everyone on this thread to see if you would be interested in participating in the RC. --Christine
-
GeorgeK - thanks for your input. We're definitely working on enhancing the functionality - and I understand what you mean about updating the "out-of-the-box" rules and reports as well. We're on it. Thanks for your patience! --Christine
-
Hi David - noted. We're tracking this and it's high priority on the road map (lots of requests). For internal folks - this is FB#22457. --Christine
-
Hi Steven - if you're having the same problem - I'd suggest opening a support ticket. That will be the fastest route to addressing the issue. --Christine
-
Hi Dmjcomputing - policy reporting enhancements are top of the list of things we are working on right now. We plan to include all sorts of new features. I know you all have been asking for this for a while, and rest assured we are on it. --C
-
Jon - I can do better than that. I'll send you a message and set up some time to talk to you otp. I'd love to hear your ideas for CatTools. --C
-
Lsmo - you are welcome to fill out a device request and we can enter it as a feature request. I'll email it to you. --Christine
-
Hi Sfletche - that one didn't make it into the RC. Have you had a chance to try out the RC? The features that made it in are 1, 6, 7 & 8. --Christine
-
I'm dropping a note for customers subscribed to this thread - we're working a new free tool for EMC Clariion - and we'd love to get some customer feedback. If you would be interested in learning more, please send me a private message or email me directly at christine.bentsen@solarwinds.com. --Christine
-
Hi Brrenner - Unfortunately the answer is *not* the one you want to hear. You do have to import ALL of the nodes and interfaces into Orion via the network discovery. If they are not imported into the database, the system will not know about the interfaces and will not be able to make the connections. Here is a…

Hi Jon - I definitely feel your frustration and wish we could do everything faster and pack tons more into every release. Unfortunately, reality is reality. I'd be happy to take this offline and chat with you about your specific requirements if you like. Just send me a message if you want to do a call and we can chat.…
