Right now, you can set RTCD to trigger based on changes to running or startup config (but not both). You can adjust this setting in File > Settings > Realtime Change Detection > Download Options. I've got the ability to enable notifications on both startup and running in our tracking system. For internal folks, #4079.

We have done extensive testing with running NPM and NCM on the same server, so running in that configuration is fully supported. As with Cirrus, NCM can also be deployed on a separate server from NPM (the integration will work remotely).

Can you go to Admin > NCM settings and ensure that you haven't specified a port in the location of the NCM server? It should just be the IP address.

It appears that the user NCM is using to login doesn't have proper access to perform a show startup, which is why the device is returning invalid command. Have you configured enable access for the user account NCM is using?

Hi Jon, I'm not sure why you would be getting this if the packets start transmission. Can you please open up a ticket with support so we can troubleshoot further? FYI, the first thing they will ask for is a sniffer trace, so if you could have one handy that would be very helpful. Thanks,

We support terminal servers, but we don't support jump hosts in this manner. We've got this in our roadmap.

Since you're running NCM as well, you'll want to backup the ConfigMgmt database as well. If SolarWinds DB manager isn't working, you might try downloading SQL Server Management Studio Express to see if that works any better: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

Toolset doesn't support Windows x64 operating systems at this time, but we are definitely looking at supporting this in a future release. Yes. Huawei devices support Netstream which is really just NetFlow. We haven't tested these devices in house due to import restrictions, but we've had customers confirm it works (). You'll need to consult your Huawei admin guide to determine proper steps to export Netstream flows to your Orion NTA collector.

It's a little confusing, but the default delay is already 3 seconds. So, by specifying Delay="3" you are actually saying delay for 6 seconds which is probably why this times out.
