NPM and NCM on the same server

Question

Just a quick question, is it recommended that these products share a server.  I realise you can back off the databases to an external SQL server but when NCM was cirrus, i remember reading posts about shared files/dll's etc which meant there were issues running both products on the same server, albeit a high spec server.  Now that they seamlessly integrate, is this possible without risk of issues further down the line ?

We have done extensive testing with running NPM and NCM on the same server, so running in that configuration is fully supported.   As with Cirrus, NCM can also be deployed on a separate server from NPM (the integration will work remotely).
