Are you saying you would like to see the latency chart for only source to target instead of round trip time (source to target, back to source)?

In your situation, Tx indicates all traffic that is being sent out from your gigabit interface to the server it is connected to. Rx indicates all traffic that is being received from the server sent to your gigabit interface. Does this answer your question?

Paul, Yes, to view your sFlow data you will need access to your Orion Web Console. The Toolset will only be able to display NetFlow data.

The Rediscover process will not overwrite any bandwidth settings. It is designed this way to allow the user to change bandwidth settings (for example: an interface only using half of a T1), and have the settings saved. Otherwise, when the next Rediscovery occurs, the bandwidth settings would be set back to a full T1 in…

Currently there is no direct integration between the IP SLA Monitor free tool and the Engineer's Edition Toolset. However, it is on the roadmap to include this with the EE Toolset in a future release.

Notepage has a modem paging software package that integrates well with Orion. They have a page describing how to integrate their package with Orion and links to download a trial. http://www.notepager.com/solar-winds/orion.htm Notepager Pro is only $29.95, but I'm not sure if it supports TAP. PageGate (another Notepage…

bgraver, Is the MSDE version of SQL (the version that ships with Orion) installed and running on this server also? If so, this could be what is taking all the RAM. This Knowledge Base entry explains how to limit the amount of RAM the MSDE version of SQL can use: support.solarwinds.net/.../ProblemDetail.cfm If SQL is not…

The Alerts are stored in the SQL Database. The Alerts are still assigned to the old Polling Engine. You will need to reassign the correct EngineID to these Alerts. To do this, first stop the SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor Service, then perform the following steps: 1. Close the System Manager. 2. Open the Database…

SamuelB, Try this filter: SortGroup IS NULL If that does not work, try creating a Report in Report Writer to show the same list of Nodes. Ryan Jett SolarWinds.Net 918-307-8100

Jon, After installing the Windows Server Inventory Add-on, you should see three new .ConfigMgmtInventory files in the \SolarWinds\Configuration Management\Inventory folder: 50-Windows-Services.ConfigMgmtInventory 51-Windows-Software.ConfigMgmtInventory 52-Windows-Accounts.ConfigMgmtInventory If you do not see these files,…

You're exactly right. You need to reassign the EngineID in the database so that it sees the old Nodes that are still assigned to the old EngineID. Follow the steps listed in the Reassigning Nodes to the New Polling Engine section of this document: http://www.solarwinds.net/netperfmon/help/admin/Server-Migration.htm This…

quote:Originally posted by rs3819 Actually, It looks like I fixed it by adding a filter for Volume Percent Available "is greater than or = 0". Please confirm this was the right approach. Thanks! To answer your first question, yes, you would have to configure your Cisco device with another destination address and port so that it sends the NetFlow data to your local PC (where Realtime NetFlow Analyzer in installed).

The Windows Event Log Forwarder is an add-on for Orion only. The Syslog messages are designed to be sent to an Orion Syslog Server.
