Open a command window and open the bat file. They try each line of the bat file in the command window and see where it's bombing out. So in a command window try these 1 at a time. You'll notice I first change to the E: drive since there is where I have Orion installed. Yours will probably be different. e: cd "\Program…

That's strange. There is no link to download Orion when I log into www.solarwinds.net. I've opened a TT online. DOWNLOADS & UPDATES Download Licensed SoftwareVersion Additional Component Downloads Additional Components Evaluation Software New Cirrus Configuration Management V3 Enterprise Orion Network Performance Monitor…

That actually sounds doable. I'm sure with a little hacking of the asp code you could create a mousover (ajax tooltip effect) that does a database query to display what nodes are down.

Nice aLTeReGo.

I would love to pick this up at round 2. I was out of the office for a while and wasn't able to test the first beta.
-
I would be interested in beta testing this as well. We have 100+ Cisco VPN routers accross the U.S. with multiple phones connected to each router (vlan2 for voice & vlan1 for data) that all connect back to our Cisco Call Manager.

If you are logged in as an admin there should be a link to edit the section ; the middle button will be the one. Check the 'Filter Nodes' section. I created a section to hold my 'Unmanaged' nodes. Filter "unmanaged = 1"

Do you know the exact OID for the mac-address-table on the switches? If you do a manual snmpwalk of the OID do you see the table on all the switches?
-
One last question. Is this going to be sold as a stand alone application or is it going to become part of the Toolset?
-
I'm using 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.1 - AdvBatteryCapacity value shows 100 OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.1 Type Gauge Units Access read-only Status mandatory The remaining battery capacity expressed in percent of full capacity.

You could always whip up a little Java applet and change the code of Orion to use Java instead.

SolarWinds really needs to start looking into broadening their support of Linux (net-snmp).
-
Is this for 8.1 only? What about previous versions of v8, is Windows 2000 supported?
-
Can you post the relevant part of the configuration that deals with snmp?
-
Odd...some gremlin must have messed with my email. Thanks for the working link.
-
Can you post the section of the Cisco config that deals with SNMP and please DO NOT post your real IP addresses/community strings.
-
If you look at your Event Summary from the Orion webpage do you see tons of interfaces, nodes and/or volumes getting added daily even though you really are not adding any?
-
I was referring to the snmpd daemon actually, not an agent. I'll see if I can find anything on this for you.
-
It's working perfectly, thank you.
-
Nice work jtimes, any chance you could upload your custom code to the 'Content Sharing Zone'?
-
Could you post an image of the problem?
-
Could you also edit the database and fix it in the nodes table?
-
He might be referring to the web console.
-
I haven't used Cirrus since Beta 2.0 but is there a setting to upload to the startup-config or the running-config?
-
Are you looking for Beta testers? I was a beta tester on 2.0 & 3.0 and liked what I saw. I would love an opportunity to test 3.5 if possible.
-
I'm really hoping to see SNMP as one of the download options for configurations.
-
I'm trying out the evaluation and I'm having trouble setting Netflow up on the routers. Router - Cisco 1711 ip flow-cache timeout active 1 ip flow-export source FastEthernet 0 ip flow-export version 5 ip flow-export destination 10.1.3.45 9995 Should I be setting up " ip route-cache flow" on each interface? FastEthernet 0 -…

Thanks Denny...I'm looking forward to it.

I wouldn't mind beta testing that as well.
