Can Orion do this?

Question

Hello, I work for a company that have about 20 clients. I want to create a custom top-level map that lists all the clients, but also list how many devices are down for each particular client. I want to be able to see from there without having to drill down. Is this possible with Orion?

I have not seen any maps that show anything like this.

Thanks for the response. Its a shame that this can't be done on Orion.

I think you have jumped the gun here - no one said it can't be done...
Check this post - it has all the code required to view the number of nodes down for a particular site.
This can be filtered for displaying each customer using a custom property.

Just add twenty of these beside your map (using a 2 column layout).
You can use the "if exist" code to only display when nodes are down

That actually sounds doable.

I'm sure with a little hacking of the asp code you could create a mousover (ajax tooltip effect) that does a database query to display what nodes are down.
