Cannot approve by email after recent update

The recent change makes it not possible to approve by email anymore.  Previously approvers get Approve and Decline buttons.  Now it is replaced with a link to the ticket.  This is a step backward.

  • I believe this may be linked to the fact that on Change Requests, the "Approve" buttons have been removed from the "Process" tab and now only appear on the "Tasks" tab. This has been raised via Support and I'm hoping to hear something back soon.
