Reports from Oracle Agents

Question

Hi All,

A question got raised yeterday during a meeting asking if we could monitor Oracle Databases through SM.

By the looks of it you can, does anyone actually use it? was it worthwhile? any major issues?

Can anyone provide a list of reports that can be generated by SM i.e. Database Filesystems, Forecasting, Usage etc

I am working on this very issue right now. The Admin Manual (page 141) has some basic info.Communication happens through SQL calls and from the looks of it, can produce useful data. It requires the Oracle ojdbc.jar file to be added to Tomcat. I've done this, but still cannot communicate. Maybe someone else can shed some light? I will publish my findings if successful.
