I have been trying to figure out a way to connect the SWSD database to Tableau. While the built in reports are nice, I would like to do some more details visualizations of our Service Desk's data. Has anyone been successful in using the SWSD Rest API, the Tableau WDC or any other method to get SWSD data into Tableau? I know it is possible by exporting incidents to a CSV, but I would like a more automated approach.
