Forum Is there a way to pull software product license keys and activation status?

Is there a way to pull software product license keys and activation status?

Our Operations Manager would like to be able to pull OS and all installed software product license keys and activation status from all Windows systems (presently Win 2003 & 2008 Server)? It doesn't appear Asset Inventory feature presently can do this. Has anyone done this using UnDPs?

I have not but most key are scrambled in the registry and you have to apply the "formula" which will not work unless your going to apply the math afterwards. Not sure if that is hard requirement. RecoverKey or MagicJellyBean do the math for you if require that information. Activation status for the OS only.

Other vendors are going to be unique in how they capture that data.
