I went through the Alert manager specifically looking to be able to send a text message when a neighbor goes down, and I can't seem to figure it out. I thought being able to send a text was available in Orion?
An available alert action is to use the action labeled "Send a Page/SMS" which you can set up if you have a service called NotePage, I believe. Otherwise, you can just "email" the text message number at the carrier email. I don't know Sprint/AT&T/T-Moblie etc's setup, but Verizon customers can be sent a text by emailing to 12389983@vtext.com where the number is the cell phone number.
