This information is not available via SNMP natively in Windows. You can install the free version of SNMP Informant on your Windows servers to access this information via the Custom MIB poller in Orion v8.

How about solaris 10? net-snmp was preloaded to Solaris 10. Therefore, may be I can try to use custom MIB to access the Disk I/O statistic directly.

I am about to try this with AIX 5.3 (5300-05-05).

I had network interface and disk stats reported with the AIX-provided SNMP, but IBM did not provide memory utilization stats in the implementation of SNMP, and have no plans to do so.

So, I installed the latest 5.4 beta build of net-snmp, installed a net-snmp patch, for that build, dealing with erroneous CPU stats, and now I have memory utilization, but my network interfaces now say "unknown", and all of my storage volumes have disappeared.

I am now going to attempt to setup a custom MIB poller for the net-snmp HOST-RESOURCES-MIB. I hope it works!

I suspect that if it works for AIX, you should be able to get it to work on Solaris, since net-snmp should be functionally equivalent, more or less, across the different environments.

UPDATE: After using a custom MIB poller to poll the HOST mib, I am now successfully receiving storage information for my net-snmp systems.

Next step is to try to get network interfaces back.
