SNMP Traps

Hello,
I can not get to receive SNMP traps in my NPM server. On the same computerwithout problems receiving syslog.

Port that sent the trap: 514 UDP
Start the service on Windows (Window 2008)
The node is added in NPM

With that data here, there's not enough to say why it isn't working. I suggest you open up a support case and they should be able to get you up and running in no time.

usually 514 UDP is syslog and 162 UDP is snmptrap, did it get mixed up?

Did you check to assure SNMP Trap service is running?

Yes, and a restart it.

I'm having the same problem, I cannot get traps or sys logs to come up on my server. I can point the syslogs to another server and it works, just cannot get them to show in orion syslog viewer

Insure your Antivirus isn't blocking it.Are the endpoints configured to send to that particular ORION Poller?
