Hello Everyone,
I have added Cisco Wireless Controller successfully in the NPM but device is not polling. I am not able to see thin access points associated with the WLC as well. Please suggest.
If you just added the device it sometimes take a little while for the detailed statistics to begin to populate, but within 10 minutes you should have them. If it has been longer than that and the device still isn't reading then I would be investigating the SNMP communication between the NPM server and the WLC. Hit list resources on the node details page and look through the list to make sure there are checks in the boxes for anything you would be expecting to see from this WLC in terms of cpu/mem/interfaces/etc. I don't have a WLC 5500 handy to check what should come up but I've monitored them in many client environments and they didn't present any unusual gotcha's. If you are using SNMP v3 you could potential have restricted the view in some way that would keep you from getting some data.

Can you please send me SNMPWALK from the device as below ?
Running SNMPWalk
If it's a WLC that's locally located to the Solarwinds poller, it will show as 0ms. All of my local to the Solarwinds server WLC's, show as 0ms avg response time. But all my remote WLC's are showing higher values.
Hi Malik,
Kindly check the attached output and suggest.
Did you get a chance to work on this. Please update.
Hello .
I dont see any issue within the device.
I can see the controller as well
What version of Orion NPM you are running ?
Have you selected the "Wireless Controller" checked in the list resources ?
Make sure you have selected . Settings > Views by Device Type > (Wireless Controller) .
if you are running some older version of Orion . I would sugguest to move to the latest Orion NPM 11.5.2 with HF 6 installed.
