How to get system uptime from cisco switches with Universal Device Poller

How can I get the system uptime from a cisco switch?

The OID I am using is:

SNMP-FRAMEWORK-MIB:snmpEngineTime

OID: 1.3.6.1.6.3.10.2.1.3
Access: Read-Only
Type: Integer

The number of seconds since the SNMP engine last
incremented the snmpEngineBoots object.

I need to convert the timeticks to years/weeks/hours/minutes/seconds.

Hi,

you can use OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3 (sysUpTime), that retun value which UnDP can format into value like 15. 18:17:12.420000 (days. hours:minutes:seconds.miliseconds)

Or you can create transformed poller to divide timeticks by 86400 (60*60*24) which will give you result in days - but only in days.

Click ADD UnDP

once you are taken to the next page, click browse MIB to see them
