In Network Discovery, just as we filter devices by custom property in the Agents tab, can't we do the same for devices monitored via SNMP? Is there no way to scan only SNMP-monitored devices where the X custom property is populated? Why a great product like Solarwinds does not add filtering with custom properties for the…
Request: Allow the mobile app to scan barcoded asset tags to match a computer (or other asset!) record. We have thousands of devices tagged with barcoded asset tags. The mobile app would become 100 times more useful if we could scan our existing bar codes to match a computer inventory record for update or review. It's just…
I recently installed Solarwinds ARM and configure Sharepoint Online and Teams scan. When i was configuring sharepoint scan, i selected all sites. After scan is completed, when i check sharepoint ressources, i don't see all sites. But if I check Teams ressources, i see all sites. I don't know why... Thanks for your help.…
Hi, is there a way to trigger an AD scan via script file? When an AD account is locked, this is not visible in ARM in real time. However, it is possible to activate an alarm which is triggered when an AD account is locked. The alarm can then be used to start a script. In this way, locked AD accounts would be immediately…
For various reasons we have to perform the AD scan several times a day. So far it can only be planned once a day automatically. It would be very helpful for us if we could also schedule it to run several times a day.
In term of a security point of view, this is often a problem to scan through ICMP and SNMP. It would be good to be able to scan through specific TCP ports, for specific subnets/IPs. Some other tools allow that like Netbox with nmap. https://github.com/lopes/netbox-scanner
Is there any way to make different type of scan for a port based on node from solarwinds ?? Scans like TCP/UDP/ACK/NULL/XMAS etc ?
When the local agent runs on a client device. All inventory is collected, monitor serial numbers, disk free space, etc. We'd rather to use a 'sever' to scan the subnets and report the discovered devices back to SWSD. The scanner does not collect the same information as the agent resulting in missing information: This is a…
I have our first scanner on the 192.168.1.0 VLAN. We have a remote facility on the 192.168.50 VLAN. I've tried installing a second scanner on this remote VLAN and it will not show in the Discovery & Assets > Scanners section. We've uninstalled/reinstalled the scanning agent, verified that the subnets can see each other,…
Hi there, I'm trying to configure ARM (v.2020.2.5.4920) to scan Sharepoint Online sites. The server is scanning other o365 elements without any problem (Azure AD, Teams, OneDrive), but when I try and connect to a SharePoint resource and run the job, it fails after 10 seconds with the following error message - "An error…
