This data not loading on device inventory issue was on Orion platform 2020.2.5 and was advised to upgrade the Orion platform to 2020.2.6 which would resolve the issue, but yet the issue persists. Any experiencing this type of issue and any workaround for it.
Protecting your network from rogue devices just got real with the new User Device Tracker 3.0. With the latest release of UDT, you’re in control of who and what connects to your network. It’s like having your very own SWAT team at your fingertips. No longer does your network have to be at the mercy of unknown or unsafe…
What I'm trying to do is setup a custom view with two "UDT Port Details" of two different interfaces on two different devices. Is that possible to do that on one summary page? The Reason: Having the capability to allow someone to quickly turn off a Cisco port through SolarWinds that is not too familiar with Cisco CLI.…
The UDT poller considers failed polling as having no data, causing the count of ports in use, IP, and MAC data to be all set to zero. It ignores any dependency checking in this process. This causes 'gaps' in the data returned and a large amount of unnecessary churn on the UDT data tables as MAC and/or IP address are…
There are no reports on the health of the UDT pollers, and on large installations it can be hard to tell if your UDT installation is 'healthy' The small report attached reports the number of jobs on each polling engine that have succeeded, or failed.
UDT appears to have jobs polling the layer2 and layer3 status. I have been trying to figure out why not all of our switches are reporting the port information SELECT JobType,JobLastResult, count(*) FROM UDT_Job group by JobType,JobLastResult JobTypeJobLastResultCount(*)21744312057224346 So, either 100% of my layer3 jobs are…
We recently upgraded UDT module to 3.0 (we also have NPM SLX, NCM, NTA, SAM, NQVM). Nightly job prior to UDT upgrade, would complete in 90-120min. This is something I monitor to ensure summarization, db etc are in good shape. Upon upgrading UDT to 3.0, the nightly immediately starting to increase in length. It has now been…
Hi, We use the channel grouping with our backup server to give the server a teamed 2gb interface. UDT is showing the two ports as active but it's not tracking any information for it so when we run a usage report it's always coming up as "Never". The switch is a Cisco Catalyst 4510. Is this a bug related to the switch or is…
User Logins are not being captured in the UDT. I have added the credential being used to the 'Event Log Readers' Active Directory Group, and the Domain Controllers are showing 'OK' in UDT. What else am I missing?
Looking at a port, there are buttons to 'Shutdown' or 'Turn On' the port. When I mouse-over the clickable part of these buttons, I get the message "RW credential is not defined for the node", and cannot use the buttons. I have searched the Quick Start Guide, Administrator Guide, and these forums for RW credential, but only…
