Earlier this year we upgraded most of our network core to Aruba 6000 series switches running Aruba CX-OS. I've been working with our networking group to finally get SNMP configured on these devices so we can monitor them in Solarwinds. And, for the most part, we are to monitor them quite adequately. However, we seem to be…
Anyone please share the Layer 3 topology poller for Nexus device
Since my ugrade to NPM 10.3.1, I have noticed that nodes are being polled for topology information. (layer 2 and layer 3) This is information that I do not need to poll for and would like to turn off polling for. Is there a way I can do this without having to edit each and every node that I am polling? Thanks. lll
Ideally, I would like to be able to ensure that all nodes have both layer2 and layer3 topology discovery enabled. I know I have many nodes that don't have one or the other enabled and I would like to get this working so that I can generate maps with Network Atlas.
Is there a way to disable the layer 3 topology discovery on NPM 10.2. Once I do a discovery when I use the connectnow feature on the network atlas it shows both layer 2 and 3 connections. I manually went to each switch on the list resources and unchecked the layer 3 topology and then when I used the connect now feature it…
In general the topology of my network that NPM has discovered is quite accurate... but there is one switch that has the topology completely wrong and I don't know why. Specially, I have a HP 3500yl connected with a single link/vlan to a HP 5400 core switch. Several other switches are also linked to the 5400 core, and all…
