Hi Folks, I have a weird problem. NPM shows device status warning but the physical devise is down. I have read a lot about Polling engine and the settings, but tuning the engine did not solve it. Two examples: A firewall is up and running. Then we take off that firewall (turned off) to test something. In Orion the firewall…
I am new to Groups and Have just setup my first group. It contains 2 applications on 2 different nodes, where only 1 application is running at a time. I want to be able to see the Group on my Node Details page on both servers that the applications for this group run on. Does anyone know of a Resource I can add to my Node…
Is there a way to define specific views by the Nodes.Vendor field? The view for nodes is "Node Details". Unfortunately, we have completely different requirements for what we want displayed for network devices and server devices. Is there a way to automatically define a view per Vendor type? Thanks.
I’m trying to delete a node that is no longer on our network and I keep getting this message: Last error: 'N:985:null' is not a valid net object id The main problem is that I’m getting event messages that the interface has disappeared (about 700 a day) and I can’t seem to get rid of the node just keep getting the error…
I had a bunch of nodes already in NPM with ICMP monitoring. I ran a discovery to 'upgrade' them to SNMP monitoring. After I did that they are all showing on the Node Management page twice with the same Node ID. I tried restarting the server, but that didn't seem to fix anything. Also on the Node Details page, the interface…
My Node Details page is nearly completely empty for external nodes: I have applications assigned to this external node and would expect to see them on the Node Details page like every other node, but they are not displayed. The resources are all assigned to this page though: Any thoughts why Resources on the Nodes Details…
So I may be going blind, and I'm sure this can be done, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. I have configured one of the Air Conditioner/CRAC units in our Data Centre for SNMP Monitoring. I'm currently polling it for the current temperature and humidity as reported by the unit, which is being graphed…
