How do you monitor ESX host interfaces?? I have virtulization manager (VMAN ) and i am pulling Vmware information through Vcenter. But i do not see any interfaces for ESX host. So is it possible to monitor the status of interface on all the ESX host and set up alert for it??
I have five Cisco devices being monitored via SNMP. They are correctly determined to be Cisco, but the machine type is listed as only "Cisco"; no model number is displayed. The devices are ASA 5585-40, 2851-nme, and 2960cg. Why doesn't NPM determine the machine type for these devices?
