I have tried several times to test OID's in the Orion Universal Device Poller, and keep getting the response "The OID is not supported". I run the device through the MIB Walk, see the OID's I want, try to assign it to that same device and them test it and .... nada. Any Ideas? PS: I forgot to mention that on the MIB Walk…
I have used SQL queries in email messages under alerts, however I have tried them for trap email messages but they are not working at all. Can we query the tables in a trap message? Or how do I make an alert from a trap? Thanks for your help,
When Orion recieves an Trap from a device it's based on a "Trap Type" and you can create an alarm from that data. My problem is that my rectifier sends the same "Trap Type" when the alarm is ON and Off. The "Trap Details" differs, but is it possible create an alarm based on the "Trap Details"?
