Alarm based on Trap Details

When Orion recieves an Trap from a device it's based on a "Trap Type" and you can create an alarm from that data.

My problem is that my rectifier sends the same "Trap Type" when the alarm is ON and Off.
The "Trap Details" differs, but is it possible create an alarm based on the "Trap Details"?

Did you ever get a reply or get this worked out?

I looked in the trap table in the database and do not see where they store trap details otherwise I was going to do some sql stuff.

Would Need to configure an alarm based upon matching string in the trap detail......

I'm in the same boat. Our UPS's send the same trap type for "on battery" and "return to normal." There are also a handful of other traps that come in that we don't care about with the same trap type. The trap details section contains everything needed to tell the difference between the traps.

When you are creating a new trap rule, you are able to set the condition OID to any OID in the trap details. So you can set a trap rule that has an AND condition where the OID is equal to your trap OID and the value of the OID in your trap details is set to the value you are looking for.
