Question: Where/how to you label your Cisco equipment to identify the name of IP address for mgmt and identification purposes. Specifically I'm curious to know where/how you label stackable switches that have very little to zero room on the front (2960s, 3650, and 3850's). I know there is a little room on the 2960s', but…
Start by going to Explore and Search Results… You can use the search box at the upper right to narrow in on a specific group of VMs if you need to. In my example I searched for machines that have “lab” in their name. Next, I randomly selected 5 VMs from the search result and then clicked on “Label” Next I click on “add new…
I love the labels in VMAN. I've spent a lot of time labeling resources by all sorts of tags - i.e. Production = True or False, DepartmentOwner = Accounting or HR etc. Then I can use those labels in charts and widgets inside of VMAN, i.e. storage used by DepartmentOwner.. This is great when I'm the only audience for the…
Currently I'm seeing an issue with UnDP wherein the Label function of an otherwise successfully imported OID is not applying the label I've set it up for. Here's a known good: OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.5.4.600.12.1.5 -- PowerSupplyStatus for a Dell server. I'm able to import the OID without issue, get values, and apply…
It would be nice if I could somehow set the default label properties for a map so that any new node I drag onto the map would look the same. I'd even settle for being able to select multiple labels and defining the style (properties). How are other people handling this? Surely everyone isn't just using plain black text…
I seem to be able to add labels to vm's, but I have been unable to remove labels from the vm's. Looking for help.
Hi, i want to exclude certain objects from Alerts in an easy way using Labels (i guess that is the most easy way). Let's say i want to exclude some VMs from the "Guest storage space utilization" alert. I can add a label called "ExcludeFromGuestStorageSpaceUtilization" and set that to "True" for the VMs i want to exclude.…
Hi. Read the features list on 9.5 and was so looking forward the new mapmaker. Well, it has Office 2007 look and can be run outside rdp on the server - but other than that is is nothing new. 1. Standalone labels are jumping around on their own when adding new objects to the map. 2. The icon list is from early 80's - and…
When you export out of a new chart style on NPM 10.4 you get the same Chart column headers for each column instead of the correct naming of those headers. See example
The automaticically displayed conversation labels are gone! The mouse over labels are colored to match the slice (cute, but unneccessary) and don't format correctly on the screen (see example). I've removed some of the data for security purposes, but you can still see the bad wrap around. What about your color blind…
