PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, update the iOS App. It's been over 2 years since there was any kind of update. It hasn't even been made compatible with iOS 6 or iPhone 5, 5s or 5c Phones yet. Plus it really lacks in features and looks terrible on an iPad. Let me access Assets, Sort Tickets how I want to see them and have an easy to…
All - As suggested by Jiri, here is my NCM Config Change Template for upgrading Cisco Catalyst switch IOS versions. Note that this script was written to upgrade switches by type; i.e. run once to upgrade a batch of 2960 switches, run a second time to upgrade a batch of 3750 switches. Mixing switch types in the same…
I developed a series of 4 NCM config change templates to use when upgrading a 6500 with 2 supervisor modules. All templates are named Cisco_6500_IOS_Upgrade_Step1 through Step3. It appears that the process is timing out as it isn't recognising the lines that are returned by the switch. I've set both the Telnet timeout values to be their maximum of 5 minutes, but when doing a manual test of the…
I can run the script below successfully on one switch, but when I push it to two or more, the second switch never tftp's the files... I think this could be one of a couple issues: NCM is pushing the commands too fast for the switch, which causes the tftp sessions to time out. And/or, the switch can't tftp doc's to both the…
Hello All; My organization is attempting to use NCM to orchestrate an automated IOS upgrade on 200+ Cisco Catalyst 3750 stacks. The scripting of the command works fine in our lab, however, we would like some sort of progress monitoring or logging of the events occurring on the switch during the software download and…
I have an SCP script I use to push out ios upgrades. When you run the command on the router itself after it erases the flash it ask you for a password to load the ios. In the script it gets as far as erasing the flash but thats it. It never prompts you for a password. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Heres the script…
