Can VMAN report on replication health? If not, is there a good way to monitor for guest replication health on Hyper-V?
Virtualization Manager (VMAN) is now featured on G2 Crowd, a business software review site. If you are a VMAN user, please consider writing us a review to help others evaluate if VMAN is the right choice for monitoring server and application performance. Writing a review will take about 5 minutes, and to thank you for your…
Hi Guys, I was working on a swql query to get the list of all vms from vmware / hyperv or nutanix. This query has helped me to identify which servers are Managed servers and which are not. Thats not it, I have also added custom properties too for more granular analysis. Here's the query for your reference. SELECT n.Name as…
With changes at VMware due to Broadcom acquisition a very popular new platform for virtualization called ProxMox has grown in popularity. We have many AI developers and users that would like to see this. https://www.proxmox.com/en/products/proxmox-virtual-environment/overview
Hi we are receiving this alert from time to time but no actual reboot happens how can we reduce this false-positive alert every time we get this we check the VM and it's run time more than months & no Event ID for that Alert Message The Virtual Machine has Rebooted The Host was Down for 0 Minutes Run Time: 0 Minutes
Hello - I thought I had a report running monthly that would tell us the Snapshot sizes of VMs we have. It looks like I have been wrong the whole time. I can get snapshot count but I cannot get snapshot size - it defaults to Total Used Storage size which is the entire VM not just the snap shot. Can I generate a report that…
We have been importing (through VMAN) Nutanix clusters, hosts and VM information for a while. We have noted that the import has some deficiencies compared to their counterpart VMware: (a) VMs imported from Nutanix via VMAN don't contain VM metadata like CPU, Operating system, DNS name or memory utilization whereas VMware…
Hi, I have a number of ESX servers running on DELL or part of UCS chassis that are not reporting Hardware details through the vCenter. I can see that other ESX in the same vCenter report those metrics appropriately. Does anybody know what causes this behavior and how to get the information needed? Thank you
As currently in SolarWinds environment Vcenter (Vmware) alarm are totally dependent on Events from Vcenter (Vmware) as in other monitoring tools it is getting poll with API easily. As we have VMAN which is working on API polling with vcenter (Vmware) but not polling Alarm. it will decrease the dependencies on Events and…
Hello Great Minds of Thwack, Looking for some help as usual.....looking to build a Dashboard / Graph that shows the Network Latency and Packet Loss for all the VM's in a Datacentre. I can build a report for this, but haven't wrapped my brain around the visualisation. Looking at Modern Dashobards and wanted to use the…
