Guys, I'm trying to set up an alert that should send me an email when the Spooler service (Print Spooler) on the server SERVER001 goes down. I thought it was a simple and fairly obvious alert but yet I am really confused constructing a working query/condition. There's probably been a lot about this already but I haven't…
We have been using DRE for over a year. It's not the best looking or working app but it gets the job done for the price. Lately we have had issues with DRE from the standpoint of installation and updating using Microsoft Intune. I download and package one version, from MSI, with detection set to the of the MSI APP ID. And…
One of the processes on a number of remote branch VMs is leaking handles and that eventually causes the server to run out of memory. Restarting the service that owns (spawned) the process resolves the issue. There's already a performance counter that is tracking the handle count for that process in SolarWinds - I just…
Hi Thwackers We are unable to start the SolarWinds Information Services on our APE , There is no option to individually repair said service and I guess we have uninstall and re-install the whole thing. So, i tried to start the service from his local .exe and got this error. Any ideas how to proceed?

I need to trigger alert only in case when the service is down on both the servers. If its down on one server and running on another server, i dont want alert to be triggered. I have created below…
When using the Export to PDF function, the Approvals do not show on the PDF document. This is crucial to finance departments and approvers to confirm that the approval steps have been completed in the process.
Moving task to a sub folder is not an option for us. We would like to see the end result of the last run of all the task but do not want the monitor to be set to warning for some of the services. Is there a way to only set the monitor to warning/critical for some services?
When installing Serv-U 15.3.2 the Serv-U service does not start. Error 1068. NT Authority/Network Service account failed. I configured it to log on to the Local System account and it worked. Windows Server 2022 System.
As shown below, I need "Credentials do not equal RN". Otherwise I would have to do "does equal" and think of every possible provider credentials there are. Ive seen "does not equal" in other areas of SolarWinds, like when filtering incident lists or dashboard. Please add it as an option to Service Catalogs. Thank you
I can't believe this isn't already an idea, but here we go: Please support the use of patterns (simple wildcards or - be still my heart - regular expressions) in service and process names. I've got a few obnoxious services that actually REGISTER THEMSELVES USING THE SERVER NAME. ie: on server1, it's…
