Hi all, new to Solarwinds so please let me know if my question is a bit vague! We have a problem being looked into where the date and time shown for next polling is in the past. While we work on the issue, which seems to be tempremental, we would like to configure an alert to be emailed out to state that polling has failed…

I have one that works well on a shutdown but when I followed that same pattern for reboots I get no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- NEEDS VM GUEST REBOOT VISIBILITY Re: Alert for VM guests that reboot…

Or for a Windows example, I alert of if a component has a bad status and I have another…
Hi, I am collecting events data using SWQL studio, here I want to know whether the alert are also part of events or not. If alerts are part of events, then how can relate both. Please suggest. Thanks in advance... Regards, Manoj

Reasoning is then I can highlight nodes that generate alerts but are fixed…
Hi All, I would like to know if the above can be be done. At the moment we have alerts for when "Nodes" go down, which is fine for now but causes issues when we lose an ESXi Host as this can log/send over 15/20 Emails for every single node that went down such as the Virtual Machines on the Host which had to be HA's to…
When testing a new alert it is nice to not clutter up the Active Alerts. Also it is nice to reserve the Active Alerts for things that deserve a certain level of attention.
