For my department, we like to keep track of assets, like monitors and other various forms of equipment that other departments may use exclusively, in addition to computers. I have been creating labels with QR codes, using that function of the desktop version to have a QR code that I can put on the asset that when scanned, will take you to that asset and allow you to edit, allowing for more accurate records on the go. Computers may be void of this exceptions, as they take you to the mobile app when scanned.
However, these "Other Assets", don't have the most functionality when scanned. For the most part, they are great and I can change and add any info I need, except for the "Asset Status" field. On the Desktop Version of Solar Winds, there are all the asset states I could need. When trying to edit this field on the web app on mobile, a couple of the options are missing and it defaults to "Broken". I have had to make these assets "Operational" to avoid confusion. This isn't a big deal, but some of these assets are still in the state of "In Inventory Stock", which may be a custom asset status for my organization that is not available on the mobile web app. Along with the UI being sub par in comparison to the Desktop version, having the inability to mark assets how they need to be marked is a bit of an inconvenience.
Attached are some example, the two separate image with a dark background are the option on the desktop web version. The light gray background is from my iPhone, where some options, like "In Inventory Stock", "Building/Imaging", and "Pending Decom" aren't options. Assuming these are custom made by my org, why aren't they available on the mobile web app?
Has anyone ran into a similar issue, or could a SW rep explain what might be happening?
