For our environment, an increasingly secure presence is desired on premise.
We are big enough that On-premises is almost always preferable.
Give me local. I don't trust your security, Solarwinds!
SaaS might seem like the obvious option, but it also depends on the size and complexity of the organization. I have a Cloud solution today, not Solarwinds, and I have found it is not as good as WHD was for us.
Clouds is great; but not an option in most of the areas I operate in.

On-premise, for security and boring governance reasons.

At first, I was 80/20 in favor of on-prem. As we get more and more into Saas I'd say I'm really 50/50, it just really depends on what the purpose is.
