Based on how I grew up, I never understood the movie Office Space and didn't care for it.

20+ years later, I'm working as a contractor working with the US Air Force and now it makes complete sense.

Did you know the Swingline Red Stapler didn't exist before the movie? The crew spray painted the stapler red. A few years after the movie was out, Swingline decided to make the Red Stapler.

Also, the writer of Office Space wrote Idiocracy. In that movie, everyone wore Crocs because the writer thought Crocs was one of the stupidest concepts for a shoe and their concept matched the movie's theme. Turns out, he kind of assisted in inadvertently keeping the company out of bankruptcy and now Crocs are everywhere.
