Currently, we have the option in STM to map LUNs allocated to Windows hosts so that we can get the utilization out of that LUN. This can be checked in Logical and Physicall mapping. We dont see this option of unix hosts like AIX, Linux.

Thanks Dalelsw. Just for clarification, for Linux hosts, though Logical / Physical mapping is not there but it should show the volume / mountpoints in that host which is provided from external storage device. It is very diffucult for a storage administrator to identify which volume / mountpoint is actually allocated from storage. Is there anyway to know that for AIX, Linux hosts?
Compare the WWN of the LUN as seen on the server (as a disk), to the WWN of the LUN presented by the array.
We dont have access in server that's why mentioned from storage admin perspective we are looking for that information from Solarwinds console. In STM, for a Linux host under Asset > Disk Assets, it shows Disk ID like "sda, sdb...." and Disk Model field is blank, whereas for AIX it atlease show Array serial number under Disk Model (eg. DGC null, Serial Number: CXX00101001111, Part Number: null).
What i understand from this is currently this is not possible for Unix hosts, right?
