solarwinds agent not responding to registration request

hi guys,

i deploy a solarwinds agent ro one of my Ubuntu Server. agent is install and start normally but i can not add this new server by agent to my solarwinds platform.

i think the agent is not listening on IPv4:TCP:17790. i use TCPdump to capture incoming traffic for this port but nothing received.

is there any configuration that force the agent work on IPv4 ?

by using this use case the problem solved.

1- on target machin Add this line in /etc/ssh/sshd_config

PubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms +ssh-rsa

sudo systemctl restart sshd

2- run the flowing command on target machine

Upload swiagent.tar.gz ( solarwinds agent file) to target server
mkdir /tmp
Cd tmp
mkdir inst
Extract file on target : gzip -d -c ../swiagent.tar.gz | tar xvf -
sudo ./install.sh

Using initializing after installation:

cd /opt/SolarWinds/Agent/bin/
./swiagentaid.sh init
Select 3
Set secret <YOUR_KEY>
Select 5 to save and exit

3- now add the agent to solarwinds
