Need to import SolarWinds data through API on to PostgreSQL DB.

Hello Team, Our organization is using SolarWinds tool to maintain data related to IT infrastructure. We want to access that data so that we can create our own dashboards/insights. We would like to have read-only access through API on our own data so that we can import it to our PostgreSQL Database and then use it to create dashboards. Please help.

All you would needs is to have the admin of your SolarWinds environment to create an account for you with read-only access. Then to access the data, you should read up on the various ways to access it via the API on Home · solarwinds/OrionSDK Wiki (github.com).

In addition to what Kevin said, which is correct
Could also export out (or pull in) with SQL directly, or dashboard from the frontend thing to solarwind's backend without involving a secondary db.
or just dash in solarwinds.
