Best way to ad an approval process to an open incident.

What I've done currently is create a Runbook that has an approval process that requires approval from Incident Requester's Manager. This works great if that is the approval that we need. However, if there is a specific person that we need to get approval on a random request... how would you accomplish that?

Hi @nbernhart, there isnt a great way of doing this today with runbooks but we are working on allowing you to present additional fields when you attach a runbook. When that is released, you will be able to have a field labeled, Approver, which the user can fill in to then populate the runbook.

On second thought, admins should be able to reassign approvals so you should be able to change it after the approval is fired off. I know this could be confusing for the first person who gets the approval but its a way to accomplish what you are looking for the time being.
