Howdy Thwack! I am working on a new 2023.2 SolarWinds server on new hardware. Exciting! I am aware that changes have been made for monitoring HPE hardware health. I have seen several Thwack posts and other forum posts about monitoring hardware health on the HPE Gen 10 and newer servers. I have been through the numerous suggestions from the posts and I am still not able to monitor the disks in our new Synergy 480 Gen 10 Plus blades. I have added the corresponding iLO without any issues, and I see Current Hardware Health with all the sensors, except for the disks. I setup Windows SNMP and changed polling from Agent to SNMP, installed and configured all the HPE software mentioned in the posts, and now I get all the same Current Hardware Health Sensors as the iLO. Problem remains there are no disks listed under the Windows server or the iLO. Since I see all the other sensors I am assuming I have set everything up correctly. What am I missing to be able to monitor the disks?
It seems documented here: SAM: How to monitor hardware health from HP Gen 10 servers (solarwinds.com)
Disks and controllers in need of monitoring: HPE NS204i-d Gen10+ Boot Controller with two NVMe SSD drives
Thanks in advance!
PS: I also upvoted polling hardware health through the Agent although I would settle for just about any working solution really.
