We've added 2 additional polling engine servers to our environment. When we changed the polling engine assignments through the Manage Nodes screen it looks to have spread out the number of elements per node in the Polling Engines screen. However, it didn't even out the number of interfaces per polling server when viewing the Total Elements per Poller under Database Details.
And the SAM Applicaiton Polling rate for the original Polling Engine didn't decrease and is still reporting that the polling rate limit has been exceeded. In fact, it still reporting the same percentage that we were seeing before moving 2/3 of the nodes to a new polling engine.
I was under the impression that moving our Nodes to new Polling Engines would solve the polling rate limit issues, but that doesn't seem to be happening.
Any suggestion on where I've gone awry?
