How do you add BGP monitoring for FatPipe devices?

We need to add the Routing Neighbors monitor to our FatPipe devices that are monitored by SolarWinds. Under Node Details > Manage Devices > List Devices for the FatPipe the option ‘BGP Neighbors’ is not listed. All the available options are currently selected. How can we monitor BGP information for this node? Is FatPipe supported for this by SolarWinds? Do we need to create a custom monitor and if so, how? Once we are able to monitor BGP traffic we will need to create alerts for this.

No worries. For the record, the MIBs doesn't not need to be added for you to create a UnDP.

Starting with the easy answer - Fatpipe isn't one of the manufacturers that SolarWInds has "invested" in. That would be Cisco, Juniper, F5 territory.

What you can do is find the relevant OIDs for what you want to monitor, and then create Universal Device Pollers (UnDPs) using the standalone UnDP executable SolarWinds provide. Once you know what OIDs you have/want and have created the pollers then the next steps are to add them via widgets to relevant pages or build alerts from them.

Thanks for the replies. I currently have a case with FatPipe to find the correct OIDs to do this with. I was able to perform an SNMP walk using the SolarWinds tool to find what OIDs can be collected by SolarWinds. I also have a MIB from FatPipe. Both of these have been submitted in a case to SolarWinds to see if they can add them to our environment. Once this is all done I will move forward with the UnDPs.
