how to we manage sending outgoing email now that basic auth is disabled for owa plus our accounts use mfa? ive setup incoming correctly using oath but there are not settings for outgoing only incoming??
MS have not changed anything with Outbound SMTP, only Inbound IMAP or POP3, they do support OAUTH now but are not forcing it yet.
Perhaps you used to use Anonymous, Simple should work as before.
ill have to have a play again, i assumed it was related - i think we used simple but with 2fa i dont know how that works if at all
2FA would not have much relevance for a service account, teat it like a SMTP which a printer or switch might use.
