Concerning Config back-ups

Reading about NCM, its said it will provide configuration backups... my question is to what? Is it Solarwinds that is being backed up or the Nodes that NCM is monitoring? If the later how would I use the conf backups to restore the Node equipment NCM...

NCM will backup the configs of the nodes it is monitoring NCM has the ability to restore configs directly from GUI. If you want to back up your Orion Server with all the nodes it is monitoring then you will need to backup the Orion DB.
