How to use custom OID polled already, to create custom widgets and reports?

Hi, 

I've created a custom sensor based on specific OID polling for a series of devices, and they are all working fine. 

Now, I would like to create a view dedicated to this type of device, and would like to place widgets with the results of the resource being pulled on each equipment. 

But I can't find the OID at the moment to specify what to monitor on these type of device. 

How can i select my custom monitored OID on the widget or report creating process?

If I understand you correctly, then you've already created the UnDP to poll the OID, and you've assigned that UnDP to the device. If you haven't assigned it then it won't appear for the node. You will also have to decide which page it displays on.

To add that to a widget, go to the node that the UnDP is assigned to and pick whichever tab you want selected for it to appear on. Then edit the page and search for any widget with universal in it. Select the most appropriate widget - so for eg a Checkpoint max connections you might want to display as a line graph, so select "Tabular Universal Device Poller" and drag/drop to a location on the page. Click done editing then edit the new widget.

If you've selected the right widget type, and node you should see something like this:

Simply set the right OID (it will be listed as whatever you name edit or the default name if you didn't edit that), fill in a title as you desire and set the widget to hide if no date - that way it doesn't load on anon Checkpoint node page.

Reports are a whole another game. A simple example of a report using a UnDP would look like this: 

This simply lists all our UnDPs we've created, their unique name (eg ActiveConnections), their OID, node name and where the status o fthat node = UP. e.g.
