What to do with Groups and Dashboards when Migrating NPM

Hello,

We are planning a redeployment of our NPM module as there are underlying OS issues with the server it is currently installed on. My question is, are Groups and Dashboards stored in the database so they will appear in the new deployment once connected to the database, or do we need to back them up another way?

If they are in the database, where are they?

@mrldg123, as long as you are retaining the existing database your groups and dashboards will be there, 99% of SolarWinds data (polled/configuration) is stored in the database. Within the DB the Groups data is stored in the table called Groups and for the dashboards I'm pretty sure that data is stored in a table called Views

Thanks for your reply. I have looked in the database and found them now. You're right, classic dashboards are in views, and modern dashboards are in the dashboard table.
